We are an old world service type of restaurant.
Nobody will interrupt a conversation. No one will bring you the check
unless YOU specifically ask for it.
No one rushes right over as SOON as you sit down to get an order. Take your
time. Get settled. We like to let
our guest set the pace. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies please let
us know as we can usually accommodate them as we do most things to order. We
genuinely care about your experience and will do all we can to make your dinner
a truly memorable event. We have numerous wines that are chosen personally by
the chef. Our wine list is
purposely disorganized to encourage dialogue and discovery about wines.
Remember that the chef matches any wine that you would like to drink with
your food...so order what you like.

Chef Parind Vora’s mastery
of Modern American food encompasses wild game, “Fed-Ex fresh” seafood and prime
grade meats that are augmented by foie gras, artisan cheeses and fresh truffles.
Restaurant Jezebel has received numerous accolades and was cited as the best new
restaurant to open in 2006 by Citysearch, Austin in just six months.
It is in the heart of Downtown Austin, at 914 Congress Avenue (1 block
from the Capitol building). Fine dining is truly elevated at Restaurant
Jezebel to its most comfortable level by sacrificing only the formality and
stuffiness. Dining in the presence of numerous and original paintings by
artist Tom Darrah only enhances the experience of the food that has been called
sensual and intoxicating with its aroma, visual impact and visceral flavors.

Restaurant Jezebel started
as a tiny jewel box restaurant created as a labour of love in
Ruidoso,
NM and as a result of hard work
and attention to quality it has evolved into a world class fine dining
restaurant in the Heart of Austin’s vibrant downtown. The restaurant is open
nightly for dinner only. Reservations are highly suggested.
